パルキーな印象のワッフル編みが好き。 そう思う人の為の１足かもしれません。「ワッフルニットの靴下を作りたい」単純ながら強い思いで企画を始めました。ワッフル状の編みを靴下で再現するには特殊な機械が必要となり国内でも少ない工場でしか作れません。靴下編み機で再現できる工場は自身の知る限り１社。

私たちはその商品化をホールガーメントⓇに求めました。低速で丁寧に編まれた靴下はより立体的な編成となり洋服のワッフルニットと遜色ありません。

 ワッフルニットは凹凸の編成により、保温性に優れます。私たちはこの商品にユーティリティさを求め、綿100％のミドルゲージ機械で作ることにで、重量感は抑えた靴下になるように軽量化をしています。その恩恵により、一年を通じて快適に履くことができます。

「大人のルーズソックス」そんな呼び名が相応しき商品とも思えます。J.M.ウェストンのローファーにビシッと合わせるもビルケンシュトックのサンダルに合わせても良し。足元の演出は自由自在、クシュと弛ませて履くのもお薦めします。

"I want to make waffle-knit socks." This simple, yet strong desire was the starting point for this project. To recreate a waffle pattern on socks requires a special machine, and only a handful of factories in Japan are capable of it. As far as I know, there is only one factory with a sock-knitting machine that can reproduce it.

We turned to WHOLEGARMENTⓇ technology for this product. The socks are carefully knitted at a low speed, creating a more three-dimensional structure that is on par with waffle-knit clothing.

Waffle knits are excellent for insulation due to their unique textured pattern. We wanted this product to be versatile, so we used a mid-gauge machine with 100% cotton to keep it lightweight. The result is a sock that is comfortable to wear year-round.

We think of this product as "adult loose socks." They can be worn with anything, whether you're pairing them with a sleek pair of J.M. Weston loafers or with Birkenstock sandals. Feel free to style them as you wish, and we highly recommend wearing them scrunched down for a casual look.
