短い靴下を製作するにあたり、ただ丈を短くした商品にはしたくありませんでした。これまでより更に素材に選定に力を注ぎました。私たちが採用した和紙は極太かつ吸水・速乾、そして軽さ。家庭でも選択可能なイージーケアである事は最低限の条件でした。また和紙の荒々しさを中和するに採用した「COOLMAXⓇ」。洋服でよく聞く単語ですが、通常の綿の５倍の吸水性を持つ繊維です。私たちが考える「日本の気候にあう一番の靴下を」テーマとした時に最高の組み合わせとなりました。また見た目の部分でスケールダウンしがちなショートソックスですが、太番手の和紙と細番手のCOOLMAXⓇを引き合わせる事で立体感が生まれボリュームを補っています。ホールガーメントⓇによる変則的なリブ編みは締め付けにくく、丈のバランス・甲回りの長さは多くのテストを繰り返し完成しました。（余談）今年も日本は暑いようで。。この靴下、お薦めです。
These are no ordinary short socks. We put a lot of effort into the choice of materials. The “Washi（ Japanese Paper Yarn）” we employed is highly absorbent, quick-drying, and lightweight. Moreover, it can be washed at home. Easy care was the minimum requirement. We also used "COOLMAX®”. This fiber is five times more absorbent than cotton. This was the perfect combination for the theme of "the best socks for summer weather. Also, the combination of thick and thin yarns creates a three-dimensional and fashionable volume. The unique ribbed knitting, knitted with WHOLEGARMENT®, is stress-free. The balance of length and the length around the instep were completed after repeated tests.
